The Lord told Ezekiel in Ezekiel 9:4-5 to "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. (5) And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity."
The Lord is saying that he is going to destroy everyone in the city of Jerusalem that did not "sigh" and "cry" over the abominations that were being done at the time.
I don't know about you, but that is a pretty convicting verse to me. Do we sigh and cry over the abominations that are committed in our day?
